Cat & Cthulhu – Episode 9 "Mane"
So what happens in this issue?
Cat gets on Cthulhu’s nerves while discusssing his possible future choice of hair style.
Author’s comment:
As you might have found out from my writings or profile pictures I
have very long hair. I think that I wrote this issue at Easter 2007.
My brothers first words to me were along the lines of,”Leo! Lion!
Mane!” This at two in the morning after getting back to Leicester from
a red eye flight from Switzerland. So put these words in my mind.
Shake and bake for a little while and this is what came out.

Cat & Cthulhu – Episode 7 "May the Farce be with you"
So what happens in this issue?
The Universal Life Church really has lowered it’s standards. Apparently they’re even accepting Jedi feline-like toys. 
This issue is read by Magnus Hølvold.
Author’s comment:
I do wish I was a Jedi sometimes.
I suspect the funky wuxia inspired powers would come in handy.
My long ginger hair would make for light saber fights that look just awesome.
Like an organic cape. With extra ruffian.
The pledge of poverty (which I have unofficially taken) isn’t that
appealing mind.
But if I was a new trilogy era Jedi – I could kill Jar Jar.
Also you get to whizz around a galaxy having ‘adventures’ and I sure
hope the celibacy thing is a guideline. Because I seem to remember
some really hot lady Jedi’s.
What other comment do you want?
I like Star Wars. I like Cthulhu. I wrote a mix and mash and tried to
do it in the least terrible way I could.

Issue 7 out ths evening
The main story of Episode 7 of Cat & Cthulhu is currently residing within Audacity, awaiting the addition of introduction and credit sequences. Unfortunately due to my joining the workforce today you’ll have to wait until 18:00BST for the issue. Apparently the main reason for the delay was that Magnus, this week’s guest reader, got drunk watching the latest Harry Potter film. Which is perfectly understandable I think.
Cat & Cthulhu – Episode 6 "Sleep"
So what happens in this issue?
In this episode Cthulhu is asked to explain the purpose of ’sleep’ to an individual whom reportedly has a brain the size of a planet…
Author’s comment:
I really need to sleep at the moment. I went climbing on Thursday.
Zurich on Friday night and then back on the train to Basel. Then
Zurich was visited again on Saturday. Today I went kayaking. There
were rapids and I know fear personally now. Never again!
None of this has anything to do with this issue of Cat & Cthulhu. Well
except I’d really like to curl up in a ball. Possibly in a fetal
position. Hopefully with a cute lass fawning over me trying to being
me out of my catatonic state.
A fact about this issue. Erm that cookbook really is on my shelf next
to my Marvin action figure.

Apologies for publishing late this week. I did have an episode ready to go on Thursday but I wasn’t completely happy with it. So I reworked it slightly today and it seems a lot better now, at least to me anyway. I’ve also been dealing with my forthcoming engagement party and my fiancee has been busy using the computer for dissertation work. Mostly.
